Partner With UsThe w2Fund is a partnership between Wolfson Capital Inc. and Market Direct Capital LLC, and is managed by Mark Wolfson and Eric Weissman who collectively have over 60 years of experience financing and investing in residential and commercial real estate including apartment complexes, condo developments, office buildings and hotels.
The commercial real estate market has once again experienced a series of stresses that are creating opportunities for the discerning investor/lender that we shall capitalize on. We have long-time relationships with lenders from whom we can acquire foreclosed properties and loans. We shall also make loans to owners unable to obtain bank financing and there are opportunities to make preferred equity investments. A clear understanding and careful underwriting of each property allows us to identify compelling risk/reward opportunities. We are seeking a partner who will provide capital for our investing platform and share decision making for each transaction.

Mark Wolfson, President of Wolfson Capital Inc., is a 31-year veteran of the commercial real estate financing and investment industry. He has great expertise in construction loans, permanent loans and equity investments for existing properties and the development of new condominium buildings, hotels, rental apartment properties, office buildings, shopping centers/malls, etc. He has extensive relationships with lenders and equity investors including banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, credit companies, private lenders and domestic and off-shore equity investors.
Eric Weissman, Managing Director of Market Direct Capital LLC., is a 35-year veteran of the commercial financing industry. He has tremendous experience in conventional, private hard money bridge, SBA commercial real estate and business lending as well as real estate acquisitions, development, and investing. Eric started his financing and real estate investing career in 1984 providing hard money bridge loans and acquiring distressed properties. He has extensive knowledge of CRE including residential, commercial, multi-family, mixed use, hospitality, food and beverage, self-storage, office buildings, as well as special use properties.
We are looking for a partner to provide capital for our opportunity platform and participate in the decision making for each acquisition or loan. We are open to a capital partner with or without real estate and/or lending experience. What is most important to us is that our partner has a strong capital base and is enthusiastic about going after opportunistic loans and acquisitions.
